In the 2018 report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), biochar is explicitly identified as an effective means of combating harmful greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. For this effective tool to make a meaningful contribution to climate protection, the underlying technology must be available in high volumes, with consistently high quality, and at competitive costs.
Against this background, the new BIOMACON City Line was designed from the outset to enable a high degree of automation in production. A key pillar of this strategy is the consistent use of state-of-the-art welding automation. In doing so, BIOMACON establishes the technological foundation to make sustainable pyrolysis technology economically viable, scalable, and available on an industrial scale.
